Do any of the following examples of negative statements ring a bell? Did you hear any of these statements growing up? If so, how did/do they make you feel when you hear them? Do you BELIEVE any of these or other limiting statements?
“Money is the root of all evil.”
“Realistically, chances are you will never be rich.”
“If I have a lot of money, it means someone else is getting less.”
“You have to get a great education and we can’t afford that.”
“Money isn’t really that important.”
“You can’t get rich doing what you love.”
“It takes money to make money.”
“I really don’t want to be wealthy.”
“In today’s economy it’s difficult to make the kind of money you want.”
“I don’t have the time to manage money.”
“People should only have enough money to live comfortably.”
“I don’t enjoy managing money.”
“Too much money makes you greedy.”
Are the thoughts and beliefs we hold on to, serving us?
